The Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body informs that the video concerning the construction of a multi-apartment residential building being carried out by ML Mining approximately 300 metres from the football pitches of the Avan Football Academy, which was published in the media on 15 September 2026, was recorded approximately one and a half months ago.

The Inspection Body had already addressed the issue raised in the article on 7 August 2026. Within the framework of the administrative proceedings initiated, the responsible person of the company carrying out the construction works was held administratively liable and fined AMD 150,000. An instruction was issued to eliminate the identified violations and ensure the proper organisation and maintenance of the construction site.

During a follow-up visit to the construction site by the Inspection Body’s staff on 16 September 2026, it was established that appropriate measures had been taken to eliminate the identified violations.
